Generally, I generate Chaotic Good Wizards or neutral WARs

I did this little test. (link on the bottom)
I play games so it is quit normal to do this.
Normally I like being a Troll Guardian, dual or  2 handed or one hand and shield, I like 'troll' as they have great strength and stamina and good dexterity and can wear heavy armour. They heal faster and they are a mid to heavy weight hitter. I prefer them over Ogres who are ultimate TANKS because they are more intelligent and way more cunning. Evil trolls are just EVIL.

When i play wizard I go full INTELLIGENCE and Wisdom as second skill pool. I lie playing wizards as some spells are devastating. Delivery of spells is a skill in itself.

I managed to play Everquest 1 as an Erudite wizard all the way to level 40 before making a second character

when I took this test I was hoping for TROLL. I was definitely not leaning my answers towards an intelligence based wizard.

I Am A: Neutral Good Dwarf Druid (5th Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-20
Dexterity-19
Constitution-16
Intelligence-18
Wisdom-15
Charisma-15

Alignment:
Neutral Good A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Race:
Dwarves are known for their skill in warfare, their ability to withstand physical and magical punishment, their hard work, and their capacity for drinking ale. Dwarves are slow to jest and suspicious of strangers, but they are generous to those who earn their trust. They stand just 4 to 4.5 feet tall, but are broad and compactly built, almost as wide as they are tall. Dwarven men value their beards highly.

Class:
Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.

Find out What Kind of Dungeons and Dragons Character Would You Be?, courtesy of Easydamus (e-mail)

I did WOW for a while and got sick of class leveling or balancing. Then shock horror EQ2 brought it in... NOOO good by EQ ...  Class balancing made all areas solo-able by any class for character. basically they dumbed it down for idiot users who where in fact DUMB. just face it Wizards are not fighters and had low STR and where physically a pushover. Likewise most fighters where low in INT and could be confused easily. this is what makes characters different and have to fight the same MOB in different ways. Class balancing basicly made the smae mob  just a bunch of hit points and not unique. So suddenly the interest in HOW to kill your prey changed to just kill you prey.

I went back to an EQ1 server  and kinda put that down. I had been spoilt with larger populations and great graphics.

Truth is, WOW was always second to EQ but for the fact that you did not need a super computer to play WoW. It won the numbers race, but the time the dust settled it was tooooo late. no to mention Sony was treating their clients like we where assholes and hated us.

this article from slashdot is SPOT ON , and gives the reason why I gave up the Virtual on line world sucking game.

i have borrowed the bit I agree with  here.
Everquest is a game centered on rewarding you for how much time you put into it. This is the core design philosophy behind the game, since they charge you by the month and make more money the longer you stick around. What they don't tell you is that taking your money is about all they're interested in. They care little for player complaints, and less about player suggestions and requests. They're in this to milk you for all you're worth, and that's the first thing you have to know.

The second thing you have to know is that the game stops being fun. By that time though, you're so "addicted" to the game, you don't realize it. The game becomes a source of frustration and anger instead of a source of entertainment and fun. It becomes a chore. It becomes a job. You plod away at the keyboard, obsessed and consumed with getting that new item, or finishing that last quest, and while so consumed you begin to hate the game. Vehemently. It's a game that goes on forever, and one that you can never win.

After playing the game for a while, you'll start conversing with other players, and you'll see the one thing all players have in common is that they all hate Sony - the designers of Everquest. (It should be noted that Verant, the original development company, has been absorbed into Sony Online Entertainment -- so will be referred to as Sony for simplicity) This is baffling at first glance, because they send Sony $12.95 every month for a form of supposedly voluntary entertainment, which they enjoy, and yet they despise them! Look a little deeper though, and you'll see that most people who dislike Sony are the ones who no longer have fun playing Everquest.

finally a reference source that is interesting

I find myself being less of a Troll or Space Pilot or Conqueror on line and tend to contact a friend or invite them to smirsh ideas.
Games at one stage used to take up a lot of my days and some might even say I needed an intervention at some stage. However I managed to pull out rather well in retrospect.
Also I find that once I was keen to overclock a intel 90 CPU (released 7th March 1994) to 130 mghz. The 300a and the pent 3 700e was running 1.3 for almost 5 years b4 it just went no further. Now I just get yesterdays top of the line so I get performance at a discount, Parts are expendable for a basic coputer. So now my tomato computing habit have long gone. I find myself searching news feeds and the weather.

Times have changed. Wizardry on the apple ][E where on the bottom level if you stayed Left at every junction you would live. Little clues on the walls "ANDREW" was the creator of the game and "WERDNA" was written on the walls. It was written in Pascal and if you opend the bat file all you had to do was go to find roll values... and add some kinda exrta bit like (strength (roll value)*3.3). Keeping the cheat values low meant you could still play the game without playing GOD mode. And the spell Titawait actually was described as a radio active blast

When it came out. Soul Calibur on the playstation really was a gaming benchmark. It had every aspect of a complete game experience. So did lylat Wars on the Nintendo. A very stand out game for its release in game timelines. They actually made the experience GAMELY, fun and mostly playable. I mean Original Sonic with the mega Pad joystick was awesome.

The Atari was a neat unit. but finaly decided it was the best music creation machines. Playing on the Amiga 64 was really just trying to mimic the arcade. It was a bad comparison.

Computers today... well we are about to hit a networking revolution.

I feed we are about to become cold and constantly in need of more and more. EEEpc is 550 bucks. its able to connect to 'hot spots' but some are not3G compatible. They should be. women can carry on in a small handbag whilst guys can fit them in their thigh pocket of their cargo pants. Anyone cna op't for a small back pack. The IPhone is under threat of actually having to de- regulate itself to keep up. Multi Media and the phone is about to become a very very thin and winding line. Android gains momentum. Its a free mobile phone platform or Opperating Sydtem.

Meanwhile over here, people drink coffee in their caffe's wondering if the bill can be paid with their credit card. Our telcos scoffle over the way they are going to release technology to us to make the most money. A lot how Sony as a game Vendor service. The Playstation 3 and PSP have features that are fantastic making every bit worth the money you spend, Whilst here is the land of Sweeping planes and grand blue mountains these features are released as net get or "to look forward to".

If your not up to speed with computers and want to learn, I rate Sci-Fi Neuromancer by William Gibson and if you like an book of short stories called Burning Chrome.
I tell ya this guy is almost a prophet
